Meet our Office Staff

I started Simply Luxury Imports in 2004 with two partners, specializing in pre-owned luxury autos. In 2005, I decided to follow my passion of motorcycles and Simply Ride was born! I wanted to build a motorcycle dealership where everyone that walks through the door, whether a customer, fan, or employee, would get a taste of the Premier Motorcycle Experience.I have been riding since 2000 and have had many motorcycles, primarily sport, but in the last few years I have enjoyed riding a Harley-Davidson Street Glide. I ride on the street, but was lucky enough to enjoy one track day at none other than Laguna Seca Raceway in California, and have enjoyed many other days on the track. "Back in the day" I really enjoyed learning to stunt on a CBR we had at the shop, but I'm "too old" for that now... Our family also has dirt bikes and we are getting the kids into riding. I lead the Leadership Team at Simply Ride as Visionary. I am happy to be involved with Entrepreneur's Organization, and am active in my small group (Forum) of 8 other business owners. In addition to my motorcycle dealership, I'm the Integrator / President at Traction Capital. Traction Capital is a Minnesota Venture Capital and Private Equity fund investing “smart capital” in local entrepreneurs and their promising companies. We leverage a robust investor network of successful entrepreneurs and our Proven Process for growing businesses to generate exits and returns for investors and entrepreneurs alike. Far from your traditional Venture or PE fund, Traction Capital is a fund of entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs. I'm married with 2 kids and a dog and I enjoy family time, traveling, and just spending time together.

Andy’s career began in the public safety field. After a decade as a supervisor in that field, he decided to go into the car business for a change of pace. As a lifelong motorcyclist and team leader, he made the transition to the motorcycle business as a sales manager at a metric dealership in the Minneapolis metro. He then went on to manage both the Sales and Finance departments for a Harley-Davidson dealership in greater Minnesota. Andy is now living his dream as the General Manager of Simply Ride. With off road vehicle, metric motorcycle, and Harley-Davidson experience, Simply Ride was a natural fit, and he loves being a part of the team.

Sophia enjoys motorcycle rides with family and friends, also going on ATV rides up at the cabin. Sophia doesn’t have a motorcycle of her own yet but looks forward to purchasing one in the near future. When she does purchase one she hopes to get a Kawasaki Ninja 650.
